Looking for the Perfect Boyfriend. . .
. . . jeans? We all know the perfect boyfriend isn’t out there-so we’re happy to settle for the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans! Ha!
Ahhh-the SF streets; late afternoon turning to evening is the perfect time to explore a new neighborhood. Noe Valley is a part of SF that is definitely new territory for me and it was invigorating to see how lively the streets were in the evening-lots of families: out to dinner, people taking a stroll, shopping. It was the perfect evening out with my new boyfriend. . . jeans! I got this pair while in LA, from none other than my favorite housewife’s store: Kyle by Alene Too and grabbed the silky white Equipment blouse from Intermix, right down the street (Rodeo Drive! #boom). Little known fact: Intermix often has great sales on designer items and I was able to get this blouse during one of those sales. I also mentioned in my Black Friday and Cyber Monday posts that Intermix was having an amazing sale for the shopping frenzy and it looks like they are still having one-so if you missed it last week, click here for their current offer!
I love how the boyfriend jeans are snug but still a little more casual. I have literally been living in them since I got them. The wash in the front adds some depth to them and pairs well with the white blouse. The great thing about these jeans is the ability to match them with stilettos or a pair of Supergas (a current favorite of mine). In this case, I chose a strawberry red pair of Brian Atwood stilettos (which by coincidence I scored at Intermix as well in NYC a few years ago-sale also!). I’m telling you all-check out Intermix, whether online or at a store near you. Intermix is one of the main stores I really miss from NYC; word on the SF street is that one will be coming soon!
I also paired the outfit with a clutch from Zara and some statement rings. My nail polish also supported the winter vibe with a dark purple paired with a light lavender. I have the items I am wearing and other suggestions below.
